Dr. Vy Thao Tran is a native Southern Californian who completed her undergraduate degree from Pitzer College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in the Bay area where she served as chief resident and subsequently completed her subspecialty training in Pediatric Radiology at Stanford University. She loves working with adults and pediatric patients alike and also has a special place in her heart for both breast imaging and interventional radiology. She prides herself for her skill with a needle and ultrasound probe. She is married with two children, is a total foodie, and in her free time, you will find her playing the piano, reading and relaxing at the beach, or at Disneyland with her kids.
